Use this page when your AI host can add a remote MCP server but cannot send a custom Authorization header. Claude Cowork is the common case. The host signs in with OAuth. You still use the API key EasyTerritory issued — you paste it once on the consent page, not into the chat.
Hosts that can set a header should use Connecting Your AI Agent instead. Both paths use the same server and the same key.
Before you start
- An AI account on a plan that can add a custom MCP connector.
- An EasyTerritory MCP API key. It starts with
ezt_. EasyTerritory staff issue it, or request a free trial. - Optional: a spreadsheet of account or rep locations, with addresses or latitude and longitude.
Add the connector
In Claude Cowork, the path is +, then Connectors, Add connector, Add custom connector. Other OAuth-only hosts use their own custom-connector screen. The server values are the same.

Do not append /mcp or any other path. Do not use a staging or internal URL.
Sign in
- Choose Connect on the new connector.
- Sign in with the AI host if it asks.
- On the EasyTerritory consent page, paste the API key and choose Connect.
You enter the key once. Keep it private. Do not paste it into a chat message. If you have no key, the consent page on mcp.easyterritory.ai links to the free trial. The connector then holds a token for that key. Removing the connector disconnects it.
Build and work with a map
Start a new task and ask in plain language. Attach a spreadsheet before you refer to it. The agent may ask which area or layer to show.

Tips
- The map is not updating. Open the map link in a browser tab. The agent waits for that tab to connect before it builds.
- ZIP outlines are missing. Zoom in. ZIP boundaries are not drawn at a national view.
- The map link stopped working. A map session expires after about an hour. Ask the agent to open the map again.
- Authentication failed. Reconnect the connector and enter the key again. If it still fails, email [email protected].
