Microsoft Azure Maps is a new base map option and an alternative to using Microsoft Bing Maps.  Here are the steps to getting an Azure Maps license key from Microsoft.

  1. Register an account in the Microsoft Azure Portal: https://portal.azure.com Note: Azure Maps is a pay-as-you-go service and requires a credit card.
  2. Search for ‘Azure Maps’
  3. Click ‘+ Add’ to create a new key.
  4. Select the pricing tier you’re interested in.  For a detailed breakdown of the Azure Maps pricing tier differences, click here.
  5. Once the key is provisioned, copy the ‘Primary Key’ value to your clipboard.
  6. In the EasyTerritory Admin Panel, set the Azure Maps key in the ‘Settings’ tab and click ‘Save’.
  7. To pick up the change, you’ll need to refresh the EasyTerritory page in the browser and you’ll see this base map.
